    Beautiful colors on the Phoenician lampwork glass mask, handmade by a glass artist in Indonesia, topped with fringes of glass seed beads

    The pendant is flanked by colorful Ghana Krobo translucent tribal beads - - handmade using traditional methods whereby powdered glass is poured into molds of clay and baked in a specialized oven.  This process is unique to Africa and has been used for over 1000 years

    Multicolored Vulcanite thin discs (recycled vinyl records - imagine what tunes these played!) and more powdered glass beads make up this lovely necklace

    Closure is a button and seed bead toggle

    This beauty weighs 5.68 oz (for reference, a regular can of soda/pop weighs 12 oz)

     

    Overall length end-to-end:  approx 19 inches, add 2-inch mask pendant drop

    When on, nape to chest:  approx 9-1/2 inches, add 2-inch mask pendant drop

    Phoenician mask:  approx 55x34x20 mm

    Krobo glass beads:  approx 5-7 x 14 mm

    Green glass beads:  approx 18-25 x 17 mm

    Vulcanite discs:  appox 15x1 mm
